1 dead, another injured in early morning shooting in Birmingham
A shooting left one man dead and another man injured in Birmingham early Sunday morning.Police responded after 12:30 a.m. to a call that a person had been shot in the 1700 block of 32nd Place North.Deep dive: WVTM 13 InvestigatesOfficers found a man who had been shot and was unresponsive outside an apartment complex. Birmingham Fire and Rescue crews pronounced him dead on the scene. He was later identified as Morris Brown Scott, 40, of Birmingham.They also saw another gunshot victim lying near a sidewalk.
