HOMEWOOD, Ala. —

Homewood police say that a missing 11-year-old child was found Wednesday morning.

Police say that the child ran away from his foster home at around 10 a.m. on Aug. 13.

Police issued a statement saying, "We would like to express our sincere thanks to the community for their assistance."
