15-year-old girl killed in Fairfield, juvenile suspect detained
A 15-year-old girl is dead after being shot on Saturday afternoon. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tells WVTM 13 the shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 5000 block of Parkway in Fairfield.The victim was transported to Children's Hospital, where she died from her injuries.Authorities say a juvenile male suspect has been detained and has been charged with murder.
