OFFICERS ARRESTING TWO PEOPLE AFTER A FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE ROBBERY IN BIRMINGHAM. ACCORDING TO THE INVESTIGATION, OFFICERS SPOKE WITH THE MAN TUESDAY NIGHT ON 81ST PLACE SOUTH, SAYING THAT HE CAME TO THE LOCATION TO BUY A CHRYSLER 200 THAT HE SAW ON FACEBOOK. THE MAN SAYS HE WAS THEN ROBBED AT GUNPOINT. POLICE TELL US THAT BRIANA BONDS AND AARON BRYANT ARE NOW FACING CHARGES.

Birmingham police arrested two people they say robbed a man who was trying to buy a car advertised on the internet.The robbery happened Tuesday in the 700 block of 81st Place South in the South East Lake area. Just after 8 p.m., officers were called about an armed robbery at that location. The victim told them he had gone there to purchase a 2015 Chrysler 200 he saw advertised on Facebook Marketplace. He said the woman selling the car requested cash only, but when he arrived, two people robbed him at gunpoint.Investigating officers were able to locate the suspects in the 7500 block of 67th Courtway South. They arrested Briana Bonds, 23, and Earron Bryant, 28, both of Birmingham.Both are being held with no bond in the Jefferson County Jail charged with robbery.
