Alabama football's A-Day game scheduled for April 12

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- Alabama football's 2025 A-Day Golden Flake A-Day Game has been scheduled for April 12.

It's year two of the Kalen DeBoer era after a rollercoaster ride in year one. The Crimson Tide won multiple big games defeating Georgia, dominating LSU in Death Valley, and winning the Iron Bowl. But when they lost, they lost games in which they were the heavy favorites such as Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and Michigan.

The biggest question going into next season is who will be the starting quarterback. Going into spring practice, Ty Simpson is figured to be the starter as of now as he has the most experience in the quarterback room. The room is extremely talented though as it features Washington transfer Austin Mack and five-star Keelon Russell.
