Alabama jumps Texas for No. 1 in AP Top 25 poll

The Tide leaped over Texas, which had been No. 1 for two weeks. The Longhorns beat Mississippi State 35-13. As for Georgia, the Bulldogs dropped three spots to No. 5, pushing Tennessee to No. 4. Another big move this week is Ole Miss falling six spots in the poll to No. 12.
