Alabama under fire danger advisory due to dry conditions

A fire danger advisory is now in effect for the state of Alabama.The Alabama Forestry Commission placed all 67 counties under this advisory, due to dry conditions.The AFC said the advisory means there are plenty of fuels available, which may contribute to wildfire activity.Dead pine trees from Southern Pine Beetles have added to the increased wildfire potential, the forestry commission said.The advisory will remain active until enough precipitation can relieve drought impacts.The latest: Weather coverage from WVTM 13
