Arrest made at Kentucky Army Base in fatal shooting of Sylacauga man

An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a Sylacauga man last month. On July 2, officers were called to the corner of Virginia Avenue and Scrouge Alley where they found Jason Anthony Swain Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Sylacauga Police Department.Swain was then taken to Coosa Valley Medical Center where he later died.During the course of their investigation, police identified 22-year-old Marquese Donnell Duncan as a suspect in the shootingSwain, who is originally from Childersburg, Alabama, was found stationed at a Kentucky Army Base, Fort Campbell, at the time of his arrest.Follow us on social: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTubeInvestigators made contact with Ft. SYLACAUGA, Ala. —

An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a Sylacauga man last month.

On July 2, officers were called to the corner of Virginia Avenue and Scrouge Alley where they found Jason Anthony Swain Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Sylacauga Police Department.
