Auburn's Brian Battie returns to be with the team for the Iron Bowl months after being shot

Tommie Battie IV, Brian's brother, was killed.Days after the shooting, deputies arrested 28-year-old Darryl Brookins in connection with the shooting. He was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm as a felon.According to Tampa NBC affiliate WFLA, Brookins' girlfriend, 29-year-old Nicole Roberts, was arrested after she was allegedly caught on camera getting rid of the gun that deputies believe was used in the shooting.Freeze was asked about Battie during the SEC Spring Meetings in Destin. He had previously been on a ventilator and it was unclear whether he would be able to walk again."He is getting better," Freeze said to media in the spring.
