It's a hashtag that’s getting national attention. Hundreds of videos showing Bama students decked out in designer fashion. At Samford, Zeta Tau Alpha member Parker Smith has been through the sorority recruitment process. She says the excitement around Bama Rush Week has brought many women to Greek life.“We have definitely seen an increase in more of a positive light since it happened," Smith said. "Just because I think you’re able to see what actually happens in recruitment, and truly it is just a sisterhood, and it is bringing all the girls together to find your best friend.” More than 2,000 women are currently participating in Bama Rush right now at the UA at Samford. They’re expecting to see similar numbers like that in the upcoming weeks as they prepare for their rush week.
