Bessemer police announced arrests made in deadly shooting

BESSEMER, Ala. —

The Bessemer Police Department reported two suspects have been identified in this investigation.

Jail records show Michael Hill and Corey Little are charged with murder.

April 13:

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the victim as Tyler D'King Andrews, of Bessemer.

Bessemer police investigate a deadly shooting Tuesday outside a convenience store in the 2900 block of Dartmouth Avenue.

The 20-year-old McCalla victim was shot at 8:43 p.m. and taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim is being withheld, pending notification of the family.

The investigation continues.
