The Birmingham Fire Rescue Department responded to a plane crash Tuesday night.It happened just before 10 p.m.; officials say the small plane crashed just west of the airport in the 3300 block of Vanderbilt Road.According to the Fire Department, two people were onboard at the time of the crash. The Birmingham Fire Rescue Department responded to a plane crash Tuesday night.

It happened just before 10 p.m.; officials say the small plane crashed just west of the airport in the 3300 block of Vanderbilt Road.
