An early morning fire in Birmingham sent a woman to the hospital.
Captain Orlando Reynolds with the Birmingham Fire Department said crews were called to the fire on Burwell Street around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Firefighters transported the woman to UAB Hospital to be treated for burns to her face and hands.
