Blount County's District Attorney is hoping to make the jump to a higher office.On Monday, Pamela Casey confirmed with WVTM 13 that she intends to run for the position of Alabama's Attorney General next year.Casey was first elected as the district attorney of Blount County back in 2010 at the age of 29, making history as Alabama's youngest female district attorney. Prior to her work in Blount County, Casey worked as an assistant attorney general and deputy attorney general for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.
