Brittany Mahomes Won’t Show 7-Week-Old Golden “For a While”
The Mahomes are keeping their newest teammate out of the spotlight.
Brittany Mahomes revealed she will not be showing her and Patrick Mahomes‘s 7-week-old daughter Golden Raye on social media for the time being.
The former soccer player’s message came after fans believed she’d shared a video of her newborn. However, it was actually Nike global trainer Betina Gozo Shimonek’s daughter Makoa.
Shutting down any speculation that the video showed Golden, Brittany shared a screenshot of the video on her Instagram Story, writing, “I think I need to clarify, Golden is in the stroller. You can’t see her and won’t for a while. That is Makoa in the bouncer.”
Brittany—who gave birth to Golden on Jan. 12—also shares daughter Sterling, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze,” 2, with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.
While they may not be sharing any photos of the newborns face, the couple continues to post glimpses into their family life. On March 4, the 29-year-old snapped a boomerang video on her Instagram with Golden in her stroller at the gym, calling her, “My fav workout partner.”
She also shared proof that their daughter will be following in her dad’s footsteps as she sported a gray football-themed onesie, including footballs printed directly on her feet. Brittany captioned the Jan. 23 story, “The cutest little feet.”

The NFL player has previously shared his desire for his kids to play sports.
“Obviously, I want them to play sports,” Patrick told E! News at the 2024 Chiefs Ring ceremony. “Me and Brittany both played sports growing up. I think there’s a lot of values that you can learn from playing sports of all kinds.”

And Golden is not the only one showing an early interest in athletics. In a July 2024 Instagram post, Brittany shared a photo of their eldest daughter with a neon pink gym bag on her way to soccer practice, her mother’s former sport.
The Kansas City Current co-owner captioned the post, “She’s gonna be the brightest one out there let me tell ya.”
