When you attend Mardi Gras on the Mountain, you’re supporting Easterseals’ goal of promoting inclusive treatment of disabled youth and adults in the Birmingham community.

A key part of their mission is a job placement program where disabled adults are placed in entry-level roles to help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the workforce.

  • Support for teens with disabilities to complete their driver’s permit test
  • Spanish translation services for Hispanic participants

Each year, in true Mardi Gras tradition, the ball crowns a king and queen. The royal duo represent individuals who support and foster Easterseals’ mission of inclusivity in the Birmingham community.

Meet the 2025 King and Queen:

  • Audra Hendricks, Area Manager of Alabama, Tito’s Handmade Vodka
    • Audra has helped Easterseals by purchasing caps + gowns for the Adult Teen Program graduation, supplying fun Tito’s cocktails + more.
  • David Pintaric, Principal, William R. Pintaric & Associates
    • David has been a long-time donor + supporter of ESBA, from helping organize Mardi Gras on the Mountain to always attending events.

This year’s queen, Audra Hendricks, will be dressed in royal garb provided by Effie’s Boutique in Homewood.
