WELL, BACK HERE AT HOME, A RIDE TO REMEMBER MOTORCYCLISTS TOOK TO THE STREETS TODAY TO HONOR VICTIMS OF NINE DIVIDED BY 11. NOW, THIS IS THE AMERICAN LEGION’S 18TH ANNUAL COMMEMORATION. AROUND 100 RIDERS TRAVELED FROM LEEDS TO THE POST IN FAIRFIELD HONORING VICTIMS AND SERVICE MEMBERS. ACCORDING TO NYC.GOV, THE YEAR AFTER THE ATTACKS, MORE PEOPLE ENLISTED IN THE MILITARY THAN ANY OTHER YEAR SINCE SONJA WALLACE WITH THE AMERICAN LEGION SAYS THIS RIDE SERVED AS A CHANCE TO RECOGNIZE THOSE THOSE SOLDIERS WE HONOR EVERYBODY, ALL THE VETS THAT LIVE FOR US, THAT TOOK CARE OF US. Motorcyclists hit the streets Sunday to honor the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.Riders started their journey of reflection at American Legion Post 107 in Leeds and rode all the way to the post in Fairfield.In addition to riding for those who died during the attacks, Sonya Wallace, a member of American Legion Post 347, said she's also remembering service members."We honor everybody: all the vets that live for us and took care of us," Wallace said.She continued, saying it's important to give back to the men and women who have served our country.Follow us on social: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube

Motorcyclists hit the streets Sunday to honor the lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Riders started their journey of reflection at American Legion Post 107 in Leeds and rode all the way to the post in Fairfield.
