Harmony Street is a quiet, tree-lined non-thruway in the heart of the Garden District between Prytania Street and St. Charles Avenue. Composed of older luxury New Orleans homes, the street has had very little turnover of residents throughout the years. How few?

An 1890 house at 1524 Harmony St. will have just its fourth set of owners in nearly 135 years after the Garden District home was sold for $1,925,000 on Dec. 6. Years ago, the sellers bought the adjacent property next to 1524 Harmony, removed the house on the lot, and built a fenced-in, landscaped pool with a huge side yard.
