The Best, Shockingly Cheap Smartwatch Is On Sale

Have you been on the smartwatch fence, declaring that nothing will replace your beloved Seiko? The CMF is the best way to dip your toe into smartwatch waters without breaking the bank, not to mix my metaphors or anything. It's made by a sub-brand of Nothing, and it looks ridiculously good for the price. Reviews editor Julian Chokkattu did have a few minor quibbles; the step count is a little off, and some notifications didn't always go through. However, it has an amazing 10-day battery life, and it's amazing to go on a weekend trip without having to worry about bringing a watch charger. (They're also in our Absolute Best Deals, but just wanted to shout them out some more.)

Here’s a Steamy Deal for Aromatherapy

Start your day with an energizing burst of grapefruit or watermelon. If you’re feeling congested, a eucalyptus or menthol shower helps open your airways. When it’s time to unwind, lavender and rose set the vibe for a calming evening. With six, essential-oil-infused scents, this 18-pack steamers set is a must-grab to turn your everything shower into an aromatherapy ritual. And at $13—normally $33—that’s a sale that speaks for itself.

This Little Space Heater Brings the Heat

Lasko Ellipse CD12950 Ceramic Space Heater

Something you may not know about me is that I have around two dozen space heaters in my home right now. Many are in the process of being tested. Some are still in boxes, waiting to be tested. But what’s the space heater I keep reaching for while I’m testing other other space heaters? It’s this unassuming little ceramic number from Lasko. Why? Because despite being tabletop-small and quite quiet, this little thing radically changes my whole experience of life within about 15 seconds of being turned on. It brings the heat, as they say. It also offers the modern bumper rails, including a child lock, tip-over protection and an eco-friendly thermostat shutoff. Will the Ellipse remain a favorite after testing the rest of the new space heaters in my life? Hard to say: the vent does get uncomfortably hot if you get too close to it. But for now, I’ve been voting with my (cold) feet, over and over. And my feet keep voting for the Lasko Ellipse. Anyway, it’s 20 percent off for Black Friday. Hooray!

Get Some Healthy Snacks for Your Pup

Maev recently sent me some of its treats, dog food, and supplement bars for my dog. I have yet to give my pup the raw food (which needs to be kept frozen) because you need to slowly introduce new food into your dog’s diet. However, he loves the cookie-like supplement bars. I also toss a cube or two of the Bone Broth Topper into his dinner, and since he’s not like other dogs and doesn’t eat right away, it slowly melts into his food and he gobbles it all up eventually.

There is a massive industry peddling dog food and supplements and I don’t care much for it. If you’re looking at the supplement bars, Maev has different kinds that claim to help improve certain things. The Hip and Joint supplement, for example, claims to reduce inflammation and improve muscle recovery. That is a question for your vet and I would take all of Maev’s claims with a grain of salt. I had my dog try the Skin & Coat supplement, and while I’m not expecting the fish oil to make him look ready for the Westminster Dog Show, I’m just glad he very much enjoys it as a snack.

What I like about Maev is the list of ingredients is small and clear. The Skin & Coat Supplement, for example, is made of peanut butter, coconut flakes, chia seeds, coconut oil, flour, gelatin, vitamin E, and fish oil. Also, the Bone Broth Topper is beef bones and water.

To get the discount, you’ll need to sign up for Maev’s list, which is annoying, but once you add your email, the discount code should automatically be added to your cart.
