Colin Egglesfield, best known for his roles in “All My Children” and “Melrose Place,” revealed he is battling cancer for a third time.

“‘It’s not the cards that you’ve been dealt because you can’t change that,” Egglesfield, 51, posted to Instagram. “It’s how you play the cards that counts.’

“I found this quote from an interview I did when I was 25 and it has served me well throughout my life including recently. ‘The beginning to this year hasn’t been the easiest, but in the spirit of what I said in my interview, this is another opportunity to decide who I choose to be in the face of uncertainty and challenges in my most recent cancer diagnosis.’”

He was first diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2006, just months after he began his role as Josh Madden on “All My Children.” A year after undergoing surgery to remove it, he discovered it had spread to his other testicle, Parade reports.
