Deaths of man and woman under investigation in Birmingham's Kingston community

Birmingham police are investigating the deaths of two people found Sunday morning inside a Kingston apartment.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WVTM 13Police were called around 9:15 a.m. about two people who had been found down in the Dr. Morrell Todd Homes housing community in the 800 block of 45th Place North.Officers went into the apartment and found a man and woman who were unresponsive.They were later identified as Saida White, 42, and Antawn Daniel, 44, both of Birmingham.Birmingham Fire & Rescue crews arrived and pronounced both victims dead at the scene.Investigators did not find any obvious signs of foul play, so these deaths are being called unclassified.The Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.WVTM 13 On The Go: Download our app for freeAnyone who has information about these deaths is asked to call B.P.D. at 205-254-1764 or CrimeStoppers at 205-254-7777.
