‘As normal as possible’: Tuscaloosa’s Kay Reyes said she was happy Trump was able to come to participate in a less politicized event so close to the election.

”He should have the opportunity to live as normal as possible,” she said.

“So being able to come do something fun like go to a great football game, I’m really happy for him.”

Reyes said she will be casting her vote for Trump in November to “move things forward” from the current administration.

‘They’re eating the Dawgs’: A sign outside the stadium references Trump’s repeating of a debunked rumor that migrants in Springfield, Ohio are eating pets. The sign was on a tent belonging to Linda Walsh of Houston Texas, whsoe grandson is in college at UA. The family tried to come to at least one game a year.

”We are very excited, this was the one to pick,” she said.

Walsh said she is worried about the election coming up because she feels that people are being misinformed about how Trump is doing in the polls.

Trump made the claim in the debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, saying, “They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats. They’re eating the pets.” Police in Springfield have said they no such reports.
