A former Elmore correctional officer and two inmates have been charged in the death of a third inmate, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC).On Wednesday, inmate Rubyn James Murray, 38, was involved in a physical altercation with former Elmore correctional officer Sgt. Demarcus Sanders; both men sustained minor injuries during the incident.
