Encore Theatre and Gallery is moving from its east Birmingham location to a new space downtown.

About Encore Theatre and Gallery

Since 2018, Encore Theatre and Gallery has brought talent from across the country to The Magic City. Inside, artwork lines the walls of the theatre—reflecting the creativity and culture of Encore’s mission.

Currently located on Gadsden Highway near Roebuck, Encore says the downtown spot will make their productions “more accessible than ever.”

According to Alec Harvey, Encore’s founder Marc Raby said the new venue will house a 99-seat theater and a separate cabaret space.

Encore’s big move

Encore took to their social media to announce the move:

“Our new location puts us right in the heart of Birmingham, making our productions more accessible than ever.

Celebrate this monumental move with us at A Chocolate Affair on December 29. Let’s make this dream a reality together!”

For now, you can celebrate at “A Chocolate Affair” this Sunday, December 29 at the Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB.
