Fidelity Bank announces expansion plans

Fidelity Bank plans to expand with several new branches across South Louisiana.

The 115-year-old institution is opening its first location in Lafayette – a new branch will open on River Ranch with a projected completion date of fall 2024.

In addition, Fidelity Bank will open a second Baton Rouge branch at 6920 Bluebonnet Boulevard. That grand opening is slated for December 1.

Fidelity Bank’s Metairie Road location recently underwent an extensive $1 million remodel. It is set to hold a grand reopening celebration in conjunction with the Jefferson Chamber on September 29, 2023.

“Fidelity Bank is committed to expanding across Louisiana to serve more customers in more communities,” Fidelity Bank president and CEO Chris Ferris said in a news release. “As we look to the future, we want to be the bank of choice for all Louisianans.”

Founded in 1908, Fidelity Bank has $1 billion in assets.
