
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Financial literacy is important for all teens and young adults, but it’s not a skill that’s being taught at school or at home.
The program is designed to help people who lack information establish and strengthen their financial wellness. The financial fitness initiative was created in 2020 and includes an in-school investing basic course for teens, resulting in a 55% increase in financial knowledge.
