Two former Alabama prison workers arrested in alleged contraband operation
Three people, two of them former workers at an Alabama prison, face charges in an alleged contraband operation.The Alabama Department of Corrections reported Becca Marsh, a former corrections officer at Limestone Correctional Facility, was arrested after methamphetamine was found at her residence.The ADOC said Marsh was charged and placed in the Limestone County Jail.A news release also stated another former employee at Limestone Correctional Facility and another person were arrested in Cullman County Sept. 30.The ADOC reported a search warrant was executed at the residence of James Chambers, a former worker at the prison, and Sophia Chambers.Law enforcement officers discovered meth, marijuana, guns and 10 drones as a result of that search.James and Sophia Chambers were taken to the Cullman County Jail and face drug-related charges, said the ADOC.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WVTM 13
