Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold transfers to Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. —

The Auburn Tigers announced on social media that they have a new quarterback in Oklahoma transfer, Jackson Arnold.

This signing of Arnold is the highest-ranked quarterback signing in Auburn history.

Arnold joins Hugh Freeze and Auburn during an up-and-down year at Oklahoma, where he had highs from beating Alabama at home and lows from being benched early in the year.

This is not the first time Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze has gone to the transfer portal for a potential starter at Auburn, two years ago he signed Payton Thorne from Michigan State.

Auburn also signed highly recruited quarterback Deuce Knight earlier this month to their roster.
