Footage released by the IDF showed the emotional reunions between four female Israeli soldiers and their families after the women were handed over by Hamas as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel. The women, who have been held by Hamas in Gaza for 15 months, were named as Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy and Liri Albag. 'Thank you very much, I love you,' Albag said as she thanked the Israelis who supported the hostages in Gaza following the attacks by Hamas on 7 October 2023
