An exhibition of the work of Alain le Garsmeur forms part of this year’s Belfast Photo festival. Le Garsmeur’s documentary images captured both the extraordinary and the mundane in locations as varied as Belfast, New York, Beijing and Moscow. His global reputation and range of subjects make him one of the most important photojournalists of his era.
