Hailee Steinfeld’s Fiancé Josh Allen Reacts to Success of Her Movie Sinners
To Josh Allen, fiancée Hailee Steinfeld is the real MVP.
As the Pitch Perfect alum’s new movie Sinners, which she stars opposite Michael B. Jordan, continues to make waves, the Buffalo bills quarterback took a moment to gush over his fiancée.
"I'm so excited for her and so proud of her," Josh shared while speaking to reporters April 23 at the Bills' Organized Team Activities training. "It's getting some great reviews and it's a fantastic movie, so go watch it."
After encouraging those in the room to check out the new Ryan Coogler film, the NFL MVP emphasized that he was happy to stand back as she took the spotlight for her movie, which hit theatres April 18.
"I'm just there trying to support her in whatever way that I can," Josh, 28, added. "That was her moment and I'm so glad she got to shine."
And while they kept their relationship fairly private before they announced their engagement in November 2024, the couple has been vocal about their love for one another ever since.
In December, he gushed to the Associated Press that "she's just the best."
“The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan," he said, "my biggest supporter."
And two months later, he shared his gratitude for Hailee's support once again.
“To my fiancée Hailee,” Josh said at the end of his MVP acceptance speech at the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony in February. “You’ve been my rock and my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”

The Edge of Seventeen star reciprocated the sentiment, sharing her own uplifting words about Josh as she stepped back into the spotlight for her first major acting role in several years.
“It means everything,” Hailee exclusively told E! News during the Sinners’ New York premiere April 3. “I’m so proud of him and everything that he does, every single day, let alone during the season. I’m just so grateful to be able to share this with him as well.”
