The Traitors’ Dylan Efron exclusively told E! News how brother Zac Efron reacted to a High School Musical parody video he made with castmate Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano of Survivor.

Dylan Efron has been getting his head in the game on this season of The Traitors.
In fact, the 33-year-old paid homage to brother Zac Efron in a behind-the-scenes clip from season three on Feb. 8, sharing a TikTok parody of one of Zac's songs in High School Musical 2. And Dylan revealed that Troy Bolton himself saw the video.
"Yeah," Dylan exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi in an interview airing Feb. 27 when asked if Zac "got a kick" out of the clip.
The video shows Dylan and Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano acting out a scene in the hallway of their hotel to the song "Gotta Go My Own Way," walking to their separate rooms before turning around to run and enthusiastically embracing each other.
Dylan admitted he was the one who wanted to make the video, although Rob immediately went along with it.
"That was my idea," Dylan told E!. "But man, he jumped on board quick. I'm like, 'So I have this idea for this stupid TikTok.' He's like, 'Sign me up. This is going to be funny.' That's who he is. He's down for it."
The pair developed a connection early on and began sharing their bromance online, before the Survivor legend was eliminated on the Feb. 6 episode.
"He's great,” Dylan—a noted Survivor fan—added. “He's exactly what you see on TV, except even more humorous."
But that’s not to say the entire experience went off without a hitch, as Dylan revealed the Round Tables were “terrible” for him.
“I hate public speaking,” he confessed. “And I'm doing it in a room with 50 cameras and some of the biggest personalities. So, it was it was daunting. And it's just so intense. Everyone's hearts were going through our chest at the first Round Table. We were all really nervous, we were all intimidated, it was uncomfortable.”
Despite Dylan’s fears, Zac previously shared that he thinks his brother has a real chance at winning the prize money.
"I think Dylan's going to win," Zac exclusively told E! News The Rundown's Erin Lim Rhodes in June. "I hope he does, because he's so good at games. He always has been since we were kids. He's like the game master."
