Jax State set to face Ohio in Cure Bowl

Jax State is going bowling once again. After winning the Conference USA championship in blowout fashion over Western Kentucky, the Gamecocks announced that they accepted an invite to the 10th annual Cure Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Jax State will face off with Mid-American champion Ohio on Friday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m.In their second season at the Football Bowl Subdivision level, head coach Rich Rodriguez and Jax State have now qualified for a bowl game in back-to-back years. The Gamecocks head to Orlando with a 9-4 record on the season.
