Lynn woman killed in crash
A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Lynn woman Tuesday morning.It happened around 8:30 a.m., near the 264-mile marker of Alabama 13, two miles south of Haleyville.Officials say 78-year-old Shirley Griffith was fatally injured when her vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by Darrell Aldridge, 57, of Newton, Mississippi.Griffith was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
