The musician—who split with the Jennifer’s Body star in December, one month after the pair announced they are expecting a baby together—seemingly responded to a recent article that claimed he and Megan aren’t on speaking terms.
In a Jan. 28 Instagram post (his first personal feed post since the news of their breakup), MGK wrote alongside a pair of shirtless, pensive pics, “how can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything.”
The callout seems to be in reference to a Jan. 28 TMZ article that cited multiple unnamed sources “familiar with the situation” when reporting that Megan and MGK (real name Colson Baker) are allegedly not on good terms and not speaking to each other.
Though Megan has yet to speak out on her breakup, one member of her circle—her ex-husbandBrian Austin Green, with whom she shares kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—has shared his thoughts on the pair’s separation, giving the musician some stern words of advice.
“How old is he? He’s in his 30s, isn’t he?” Brian told TMZ in December of the 34-year-old’s on-and-off relationship with Megan. “Like, f--k. Grow up. She’s pregnant.”
He added, “I’m heartbroken about it because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”
Ultimately, though, Brian—who also shares son Kassius, 22, with ex Vanessa Marcil, as well as son Zane, 2, with wife Sharna Burgess—simply wants harmony for all parties involved.

“I want the best for her,” he shared. “I want the best for the baby. I want the best for our kids.”
He continued, “I hope the best outcome that could possibly happen, happens. For her, for the baby and for our kids.”
