A man is in jail after a deadly shooting in Tuscaloosa Friday night.Tuscaloosa police responded to a shooting at around 10:30 p.m. at the Camelot Apartments at 615 Black Bears Way.When they arrived, they found a man dead. He has been identified as Sherod Lanell Parris, 32.Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit spoke with witnesses and developed Charles Darron Richardson as a person of interest, and discovered that he had outstanding warrants for receiving stolen property. Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between Parris and Richardson.The Tuscaloosa SRT (Special Response Team) and U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force assisted police in the search for Richardson.He was located early Saturday morning and is charged with murder and certain persons prohibited from possessing a firearm, along with other outstanding charges.Richardson is in the Tuscaloosa County jail with no bond pursuant to Aniah’s Law.
