Police are searching for a suspect in a deadly shooting on 78th Street South.

A man is dead after being shot on Saturday night in Birmingham's East Lake area.Birmingham police said it happened around 10:45 p.m. outside an apartment complex on 78th Street South.When police arrived they found the unresponsive victim lying in the parking lot.He was pronounced dead at the scene.Police believe he was arguing with someone when he was shot. Then the other person left the scene.Authorities are now searching for the suspect. Anyone who has information about this shooting is asked to call the B.P.D. Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

A man is dead after being shot on Saturday night in Birmingham's East Lake area.
