HEY GUYS. EMMA OWN HERE AT THE BREAKING NEWS DESK. SINCE WE WENT OFF THE AIR AT MIDDAY, WE HAVE LEARNED A SHOOTING HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A MAN IN HUEYTOWN. POLICE WERE CALLED TO 28TH AVENUE EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON FOR SHOTS FIRED AND A PERSON DOWN. WHEN THEY GOT THERE, THEY FOUND A MAN SHOT. NOW WE’RE TOLD HUEYTOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT TRIED TO SAVE HIM, BUT HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD THERE. POLICE SAY THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE AND EVERYONE WHO SAW THE SHOOTING STAYED AT THE SCENE. A man was shot and killed in Hueytown Wednesday.The Hueytown Police Department reported it happened in the 1700 block of 28th Avenue just after 12 p.m.First responders worked to save the man's life, but he died at the scene.Police said the shooter and all witnesses stayed on the scene and were cooperating with the investigators. A man was shot and killed in Hueytown Wednesday.
The Hueytown Police Department reported it happened in the 1700 block of 28th Avenue just after 12 p.m.
