The Miles. Golden Bears are coming off *** program defining win against Alabama State over the weekend 21 to 17. Sam Shade, the former Crimson Tide and NFL star is in year two as the head coach of the Golden Bears, they took on Alabama State and won the game advancing to two and zero on the season in year. Number one miles, just 1 to 9. Now, they're two and zero looking to stay undefeated. Sam shade is proud of his team so far through two weeks of play. Well, you know, it means *** lot for us. Uh, it gives our players confidence. It's exciting for our fans that, you know, they have neighbors and family members that have gone to Alabama State. So I'm not saying it's *** rivalry but, you know, being in *** school like Alabama State, that's, you know, kind of one of the, one of the close H BC US in the state. It's pretty big. It's pretty exciting for our fans. The Miles Golden Bears stand at 2 to 0 on the season next up, they head on the road again to take on Arkansas Pine Bluff, *** win and the Miles. Golden bears are 3 to 0 to start the year here at Miles College Ryan Hennessey WVM. 13.

He also spent time in the NFL as well.After his football career, Shade wanted to get into coaching. He had stops in college, the NFL and at the high school level. Now, Shade is the head coach of Miles College with a new challenge: to build something special in a community he knows well.In year one under Shade, he only won one game. Now, in year two, he has a 2-0 record.The most recent win is one of the biggest in school history, over Alabama State on the road 21-17."Beating a school like Alabama State that is one of the closer HBCU schools in the state, it is pretty big.
