Missing man found shot at a Birmingham community park

Birmingham police are investigating a man's shooting death at a park Sunday morning in the Dolomite community.Police were called to the 1000 block of Tin Mill Road on a report that a person had been shot.They arrived shortly after 10 a.m. at the parking lot of the Dolomite-Westfield Park and saw a man in a vehicle who had been shot.Birmingham Fire and Rescue crews pronounced him dead at the scene. He has been identified as Robert Alexander Brown, 22, of Bessemer.Family members told police that Brown had been missing since around noon on Saturday, and they were searching the area looking for him when they spotted his vehicle.A family member saw their loved one inside, realized he had been shot and called 911.
