Multi-county chase ends with stolen car in Hoover drainage ditch

IN YOUR HEADLINES THIS AFTERNOON, A THREE COUNTY CHASE FROM CULLMAN COUNTY ENDS IN A CRASH IN HOOVER. STATE TROOPERS SAY THIS STARTED AS THEY TRIED TO STOP A STOLEN VEHICLE ON I-65 AND HOOVER. THE DRIVER SPED THROUGH COLEMAN, BLUNT AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES. IT ENDED AFTER HE GOT OFF THE INTERSTATE ON THE HIGHWAY 31 AND LATER HIT A DRAINAGE CULVERT THAT DISABLED THE VEHICLE.
