Looking for a new place to sit back and relax while waiting to fly out of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM)?
Check out The Scoreboard, the new sports bar at Concourse A that opened last week.
The Scoreboard is filled with TVs

Formerly Birmingham Brewhouse, The Scoreboard has wall to wall TVs with ample space to watch sports on their big screen TVs or just people watch.
If you are a frequent Delta and American passenger, the new spot is centrally located near your gates.
I will have to say, even if you fly out of Concourse C where Southwest departs (which I did over Labor Day weekend), The Scoreboard is not a long walk. BHM has done a fantastic job making the airport welcoming with artwork and colorful exhibits about Birmingham’s history.
The Scoreboard hours and a future BHM restaurant

The Scoreboard opens at 5:00AM everyday and closes at the last flight out.
Along with The Scoreboard, the Red Mountain Grill coming back to the BHM. According to their signage, the popular restaurant expects to reopen this summer.
