Oneonta, Allgood fire departments teaming up to collect supplies for those affected by Helene
The Oneonta Fire and Rescue Service is teaming up with the Allgood Fire Department to get supplies to those in North Carolina that have been affected by flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, and they need your help.Items needed include:Bottled waterNon-perishable food items (crackers, protein bars, etc.)Cleaning supplies (bleach, disinfectants, mops, etc.)Hand Tools (Shovels, Rakes, Buckets)Personal hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, feminine products)Baby supplies (diapers, wipes, formula)NEW Blankets and towels with tagsFirst aid kits and medical suppliesTrash bags and glovesFlashlights and batteriesPet food and suppliesSupplies can be dropped off at Oneonta Fire Department or Allgood Town Hall from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 4.The first load of supplies will leave for North Carolina Wednesday morning.If you would like to make a financial donation toward relief efforts through the Red Cross, click here.

The first load of supplies will leave for North Carolina Wednesday morning.
