Oscars 2025 Best Dressed: Cynthia Erivo, Zoë Saldaña & More Red Carpet Looks

Emma Stone has not a hair out of place.

In fact, the Kinds of Kindness star’s new pixie cut was on full display as she stepped onto the 2025 Oscars red carpet.

Dressed in custom Louis Vuitton, Emma dazzled—literally—in the nude-colored gown, which was covered in reflective detailing. And, she brought the best accessory of all: her husband, Dave McCary, with whom she shares 3-year-old daughter Louise Jean, who wore a classic blax tuxedo at her side. (See every star here.)

While Emma is not nominated at this year’s ceremony—last year she won her second Best Actress trophy for Poor Things—her and Dave’s production company helped produce A Real Pain, for which Kieran Culkin is nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category and Jesse Eisenberg for Best Original Screenplay.

So far this award season, Kieran has swept the category—thanking Emma, who is also his ex, during his Golden Globes acceptance speech—while Jesse won best screenplay at the 40th Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica Feb. 22.

It was there, that he paid special tribute to the Easy A star and their lasting friendship.

"I met Emma when we were in Zombieland together in 2009,” Jesse said onstage. “And since then, I write little magazine articles and little things on McSweeney's, and she's the only person—I'm including my mom here—who would take little screenshots of it over the last 15 years and send me things like, 'This is such a funny line!'”

He joked that while Emma is “the most famous person” he knows, she is also “the most dedicated to encouraging me as a writer.”

The Social Network star continued, "I think about her not as my producer, but like a fairy godmother — that I am riding the coattails of her goodwill.”

Following his win, per People, Jesse even teased as to whether he’d ever write something for Emma.

“Every single person in the world who opens a Final Draft folder wants to write something for Emma Stone,” he joked during a press conference. “She's the greatest in every genre. So yeah."

And while he noted his work isn’t usually written with a specific actor in mind, he conceded, "At some point I'll probably have the presumption to write something for her and it'll be a very awkward conversation where she tells me she's busy."
