Overturned tanker truck and spill force closure of Highway 78 in Jasper
Crews continued working to clean up a gasoline spill after a tanker truck overturned in Jasper.The Jasper Police Department said the truck and another vehicle collided just before 2 p.m. on Highway 78 West and 18th Avenue NW.Both drivers seemed OK, but were taken to a hospital as a precaution, police said.The JPD said the tanker truck was carrying gasoline, and some of it spilled onto the ground.Police also said Highway 78 remained closed at 4 p.m.Workers from the Walker County Emergency Management Agency, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, Alabama Department of Transportation were on scene, said police.Follow: Interactive traffic map

Crews continued working to clean up a gasoline spill after a tanker truck overturned in Jasper.
The Jasper Police Department said the truck and another vehicle collided just before 2 p.m. on Highway 78 West and 18th Avenue NW.
