‘When I took this it was just a lovely scene that caught my eye. But I grew to like it even more as I analysed it later. I like the groups of two. Two chimneys, the Charlton silos, the two windows, two exterior blinds, two front doors, the 113 on the letterbox, but also the neatly trimmed bush in the middle, and the street light hanging from the wire at the top. Hard to say why all this pleases me so much but it really does’
