Police investigating two bodies found in Irondale residence

Detectives with the Irondale Police Department are working on an incident in which two people were found dead inside a residence.According to a news release from IPD, officers were called to check a person down in the 300 block of Meadows Drive at about 9:15 a.m. on May 19.Officers found two people deceased inside and as the investigation developed, it is believed the case is a murder-suicide between two people in a dating relationship, stated the IPD.The manner of death was not released and the identities of those found are being withheld until the family is notified.
