Popular denim-themed Lakeview bar adding food options

Last summer, a group of local entrepreneurs opened Denim on 7th in the former Coffee Lab space at 2808 7th Avenue South, STE 105 in Lakeview.

Due to popular demand, the denim-themed bar is adding exciting food options to its menu. Bham Now spoke with the owners of Denim on 7th to learn more.

A neighborhood gathering spot designed to feel like a 2023 version of Cheers, Denim on 7th was opened in July 2023 by local entrepreneurial firm CKC Holdings Group.

As its name suggests, Denim on 7th’s interior has a denim-centric theme—even the wall is decked out in the sturdy cotton textile, designed by local artist Faith Foster.

Food options coming to Lakeview’s denim bar

Since its opening, Denim on 7th has specialized in wines and “Instagram-worthy” cocktails—now, the owners are adding food to the menu.

“We’ve been open a little over a year now, and the neighborhood has received us very well. We’ve had a lot of customers that suggested we add food service, so we decided to give the people what they’re looking for!”

Denim on 7th will begin offering food on Thursday, October 24—starting out with a menu of small bites and finger foods, including:

• Bacon wrapped shrimp
• Signature flatbreads
• Tapas
• Light desserts
• And more!

The kitchen will be open from 5PM to close on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
