Brechtel Hospitality, a developer and property manager, has announced summer closure plans for its Poydras Street property brands Vintage Rock Club and Copper Vine.

Both developments are undergoing extensive expansion, doubling square footage and providing new and unique dining and entertainment options.

Vintage Rock Club will shutter for renovations starting Friday, July 7, and will re-open in September. Vintage Rock Club will double in size with the addition of a second dance floor and video wall. The space can be booked for larger events, wedding after parties and corporate events. The original dance floor and video wall area will remain open for regular patrons. Other enhancements include venue design enhancements, extended balcony access on Rampart Street and newly expanded restrooms that incorporate a lounge.

Copper Vine will close for initial expansion renovations starting Monday, August 7, and will re-open at the end of August. Guests will notice a remodeled first floor with design enhancements, updated back bar, new interior lighting and flooring. In the upstairs area guests will also see a renovated dining space with new floorplan configuration, allowing opportunities to combine smaller dining rooms into one larger space to accommodate various sized private events.

According to a news release, Copper Vine’s expansion will continue with the evolution of the brand into Copper Vine Winepub & Inn, a ‘restaurant-first’ spin on a traditional bed-and-breakfast with 11 rooms and increased restaurant floor plan for expanded dining and private events.

Brechtel is also constructing a 6,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor rooftop venue. It will include a full kitchen and private elevator entrance on Rampart Street. Renovations are anticipated to be completed by the end of this year.
