PROCEDURES. BIRMINGHAM POLICE SAY A MAN IS IN SERIOUS CONDITION AFTER THE PERSON THAT HE WAS TRYING TO ROB SHOT HIM LAST NIGHT ON FIRST AVENUE. INVESTIGATORS TELL US THAT TWO MEN TRIED TO ROB SOMEONE BUT PULLED OUT A GUN AND SHOT ONE OF THE SUSPECTS BEFORE CALLING POLICE. BPD SAYS THE SUSPECT IS
